WholeWorld-View at "The Good, The Beautiful and the True" — Oxford, May 2026
This event is organised and hosted by Channel McGilchrist & The Scientific and Medical Network
This May, a two-day gathering at the Sheldonian Theatre will bring together leading thinkers to explore a question of enduring relevance:
What role do the good, the beautiful, and the true play in how we understand the world today?
Convened by Iain McGilchrist, the event includes contributions from Jude Currivan, Angie Hobbs, and David Lorimer, among others.
Across lectures, panel discussions and audience dialogue, the programme explores how contemporary culture has often moved away from these foundational values — and what it might mean to re-engage with them in a meaningful, embodied way.
Rather than positioning the good, the beautiful and the true as abstract or subjective, the gathering invites a deeper inquiry into their place within the structure of reality and human experience.
For WholeWorld-View, this conversation resonates strongly with our ongoing exploration of a unitive worldview — one in which science, consciousness and lived experience are understood as interconnected aspects of a greater whole.
We are particularly pleased that Jude Currivan will be contributing to this dialogue, bringing her perspective on a living, evolving universe.
This promises to be a rich and timely gathering, offering both intellectual depth and space for reflection.
